Since producing On the Map, Barbados has elected a new government that is stalling on the implementation of Article 45 of the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas which allows for the free movement of all nationals within the community. The migrant discussion has gone quiet while deportations seem to be on the increase. I am trying to update information to get more current stories and make more work on this issue. I have to gather the data myself because there is no place for migrants to go to report human rights abuses or difficulties of any sort. If you would like to share your migrant experience with me, please click on the link below and complete the questionnaire. Thank you.
